JAU has affiliations with both AICTE and ICAR. University provides various courses in agriculture, science, veterinary sciences, engineering, and management. Admission at University

Admission to all UG degrees is determined on the applicant's GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Exam) results. Admission to graduate programs, on the other hand, is determined by performance on university-level entrance exam as well as merit. Students can get the online application form from the website . They would have to pay registration fee of Rs 1000. Forms that have been correctly completed should be presented personal or by registered mail to the Principal and Dean. All successful candidates will then be contacted to schedule a written exam, a group discussion, and an individual interview. The university will then present a list of qualifying students, who will be approached for counselling sessions.

Campus Life & Events in Junagadh Agricultural University :-

The campus is attractive and may be explored. There are numerous facilities provided, such as—

• Library:  A double-story stack room at the university library can accommodate 1.5 lakh volumes. There are more than 42,000 volumes in the library. The library provides 14,000 back volumes, as well as 150 Indian and around 42 international periodicals.
• Cybrary: University has 40 workstations in 2 distinct, well-equipped cells for Cyberary. Students may access databases such as CAB, AGRIS, and AGRICOLA via Cyberary, which provides 100 Mbps LAN connectivity. This has made it much easier for users to utilise the library for research purposes. The Cyberary provides students with a full-time internet connection, as well as scanning and CD authoring facilities.
• Hostel :  The hostel service is available to both boys and girls. All UG and graduate students have access to hostel accommodations, including a mess. With a total capacity of 2312 students, there are 27 hostels, 20 for boys and 7 for ladies. 2 new hostels are being developed in Targhadiya and Amreli to handle the increasing number of students.
• Sports: University offers 2 multifunctional indoor sports complexes, 8 outdoor venues, and one contemporary gymnasium outfitted with all gym equipment. It organises 4 sports competitions.
• Intercollegiate tournament.

• Open competitions organised by various university clubs.

Placements to University

University's placement cell provides students with the greatest options and placement offers, as well as preparation for interviews through various webinars and seminars to learn and acquire insights.
