RK University was formed in 2009 and based in Rajkot, Gujarat. It is connected with the Gujarat Technological University (GTU). University has been approved by AICTE. RKU is recognised by the University Grants Commission. University aspires to be a premier educational institution that prepares students to become responsible global citizens who are attentive to the needs of others in their community. It is a member of the Association of Indian Universities.
