Rai University (RU) Ahmedabad is a self-financed private university located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and was established by the Gujarat State Legislature under Gujarat Act No.12 of 2012. The University has been accepted by both the Gujarat Government and the Bar Council of India, and it is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities. ASSOCHAM recognised University as the Best Upcoming Private University in the year 2012. University now has 1,383 students, both male and female, with a strong and diversified staff of more than 75 professors.

University offers UG, PG and doctoral programs in several specializations. Admission to University can be made on the basis of scores obtained in qualifying examinations conducted by the state of Gujarat and/or through personal interviews. The admission to the MBA program is done through the Entrance Exam conducted by ACPC and admission to B.Tech and M.Tech courses is granted on the basis of GUJCET and PGCET scores respectively.
