Rashtriya Raksha University, located in Dahegam, Gandhinagar, was founded in 2009 and has 15 constituent schools. The government of Gujarat established the university, which is acknowledged by the UGC.

The university provides UG, PG, diploma, M.Phil, and Ph.D. courses to its students. Admissions are mainly merit-based, with the exception of courses that are entrance-based. Admissions 2024 at University

The university produces a merit list for admission based on the scores received in previous qualifying exams or the results of an entrance exams. B.Tech admission is based on the JEE Main test, however GATE scores are used for M.Tech programs. For LLM studies, candidates must pass the CLAT test or an online exam conducted by the institution. While for research level courses, Ph.D. and M.Phil., the institution conducts an entrance exam and requires shortlisted individuals to attend a personal interview.
