Shree Somnath Sanskrit University, Junagadh

Shree Somnath Sanskrit University was founded in 2005 by Panditji Shri Naval Kishore Sharma, the university's previous Governor and Chancellor. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is located in Somnath-Verawal, district Junagadh, Gujarat. It is situated on more than 17 acres of land provided by the Shri Somnath Trust.

• It has awarded accreditation to the world-renowned 'Arsh'Akshardham Research Institute for Social Harmony, Gandhi Nagar, and as Research Institutes.
