Lala Lajpat Rai institution of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LUVAS) is a veterinary institution in Hisar, Haryana. It was founded in 2010 and named after liberation warrior Lala Lajpat Rai. University has been formally recognised by the University Grants Commission in India. The university's mission is to provide high-quality teaching, research, and services in veterinary and animal sciences to help the cattle sector grow.

University provides UG, graduate, diploma, and Ph.D. programs in various specialisations, including veterinary science, livestock development, and veterinary laboratory technology. Eligibility: Only B.V.Sc. and A.H. students accepted to Haryana Resident seats are eligible for scholarships, and their merit will be decided by the results of the Entrance Test.
