MM Group of Institutions was the original name of Maharishi Markandeshwar (MMDU), Ambala, it was founded in 2010. In the state of Haryana, the Maharishi Markandeshwar Educational Trust founded the first self-financing engineering college, the first self-financing medical college, and the first self-financing deemed university.
