The National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) is a deemed university in Sonepat, Haryana. It is governed by India's Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI). The Government of India has designated NIFTEM as a "Institute of National Importance" for the year 2021. Merit Scholarship:  The prize is given to the top 3 students in B.Tech. and one student in each M.Tech degree. The NIFTEM Merit scholarship is primarily paid in the second semester. Following that, only the best performers from each year are offered scholarships for the following year and successive years. It includes a 10-month tuition cost remission and a set monthly income.

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship:  Scholarship based on merit and means The merit-cum-means scholarship is offered to M.Tech students who are poor and have a family income of less than INR 2,50,000. University scholarships are offered to 5% of students, or 6 M.Tech students (one from each of the 5 programs). Along with a set monthly income, it includes a 10-month  tuition fee waiver.
