Admission to University's professional degrees depends only on University-conducted Merit Exams. The test will be available both online and offline, depending on the student's preferences.

Steps to apply

• The application for the courses can be completed both online and offline. Applicants can complete out the form online or bring it to the administration office and submit it.
• An application fee of INR 990 must be given along with the form. The cash can be placed at University's fee counter or the nearest Punjab National Bank branch. A printout of the voucher (Challan) is required as evidence of payment. Payment is required when submitting the form online.
• When applying online, the student obtains a unique ID and password that will serve as his identification throughout the admissions process.
• In the event of an online test, the student can select a time frame through the website after being notified.
• The program-specific merit lists will be available on the University's official website within 2 weeks of the start of the test.
• After counselling, qualified candidates will be offered admission.
• When the student accepts the offer, they must pay the fees for their selected course.

  - 15% concession: Given to those scoring between 70 and 80%.
  - 25% concession is given to individuals who scored between 80-90%.
  100% concession: Given to individuals who achieved more than 95%.
• Based on the JEE Mains scores:
  - 25% concession: Given to those who scored between 75 and 100.
  - University faculty members receive 50% discount on scores between 100-125.
• Scholarship: Tuition expenses are reduced by 50% during the student's academic career, as long as the employee is employed at the university.
• Army Scholarships: The son/daughter/grandson/granddaughter of those serving or who have served in the country's military services receives 20% fee reduction.

• No Ragging Zone: Upon enrolment to the University, students must sign the Anti-Ragging Undertaking. University of Emerging Sciences and Technologies has zero tolerance for ragging. Those who engage in ragging are liable to expulsion from the university and its associated colleges. The student is additionally fined INR 5,00,000 and imprisoned or removed for 3 years.
• Library:   The university established the library in 2002. Since then, it has built up an extensive collection of books, magazines, journals, and CDs/DVDs. The library has installed Open Source Software, KOHA library management systems, and software for automating and digitising the services it provides. Aside from books and the internet, students here have access to national and international periodicals, digital libraries, memberships at other libraries, CDs and DVDs, and so on.
• Hostels:    The college has developed separate hostels for girls and boys. The hostels are well-equipped with contemporary amenities, and each one has a residential warden. The senior guys' dormitory includes a retail centre nearby to meet their daily needs. There are 3 sorts of hostel charges: single, double, and triple occupancy. The fees are INR 33,000 for single stay, INR 27,000 for double occupancy, and INR 21,000 for triple occupancy.
• Transportation:    Because the University is located on a national route, public transportation is available to and from surrounding towns. Furthermore, students and staff have access to travel within 90-km radius that includes Mohali, Chandigarh, Panchkula, and other cities. All buses have a large capacity and are luxurious. Depending on the region, transportation fees range from INR 1,900 to 23,400.
