The University of Himachal Pradesh is well-known for its green and sustainable campus. Aside from around 41,693 volumes and 56 subscriptions to periodicals, the library also has 2,86,920 e-journals and 69,73,579 e-books.  The library has central AC, Wi-Fi, and can seat 395 people, and has also subscribed to several databases, including IEEE, Knowledge-Hub, EBSCO, Proquest, and DELNET.

Cafeteria: University's food court delivers various dishes with a focus on wellness. Students like organising academic talks and informal get-togethers in the warm and welcoming environment.

Medical facility: The 24-hour medical facility was established to provide quality primary health care as well as health-related education, counselling, and outreach to promote optimal health and well-being.

Sports: The campus will have playgrounds for basketball, volleyball, badminton, and tennis. Indoor game facilities have also been built, including table tennis and various board games. A full-fledged gymnasium facility is planned and expected to open soon.
