Indus International University, Una

Indus International University (IIU) was founded under the Himachal Pradesh Government's Regulation Act, 2009, and has the authority to issue degrees under sections 2f and 22 of the UGC Act 1956.The university campus is located in Bathau, Una district. The campus covers 160000 square feet across 7 blocks.

It was established as not-for-profit institution with the primary goal of offering educational opportunities in rural India. This measure was taken to bring higher education to rural students, saving them from having to travel to other cities where all of the main public institutions are situated. The University wants to provide its students with high-quality, world-class educational facilities.
