Facilities at University

Library: The Yogananda Library is located in a famous, award-winning structure. With over 9,000 e-journals and around 3 million book titles in both print and digital formats from the USA-based EBSCO and DELNET databases, the library is well-stocked. A plethora of knowledge is available 24/7 at this learning center. 

With 200 seats, the APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium was inaugurated by the visionary himself and is a flexible venue for conferences, workshops, and guest lectures. There is also an Open Air Theater, Peter Drucker Hall, and Ratan Tata Hall at Shoolini University. The audience can enjoy a top-notch audiovisual experience at the university Cineplex.

Amphitheatre: The university community can gather in a great setting at the amphitheater, which has more than 500 seats. For a range of stage shows, including musical concerts, cultural events, outdoor festival celebrations, and theatrical productions, students and teachers gather here.

Hostel: University students live in 7 exquisitely designed dorms, one for each gender. The university provides every amenity required to improve the educational experience. In addition to free Wi-Fi, the hostels have common areas, study spaces, TV rooms, table tennis, chess, carrom boards, and hangout zones. Moreover, there is a 200-seat movie theater, 24-hour caretakers for regular medical needs and emergencies, a medical center with ambulance support, a unisex salon, snack and beverage vending machines, and laundry facilities. More than 2000 students live on campus each year in state-of-the-art residence halls. Of these, there are roughly 900 boys and 1100 girls.

Chancellor Prof. PK Khosla graduated from Oxford University with a postdoctoral degree. In addition to serving as the Vice Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University (HPAU), he was previously the Himachal Pradesh Government's Senior Advisor of Biotechnology. In addition, he has edited 12 books and authored 150 papers.
