Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi

Central university in the state of Jharkhand is Central University of Jharkhand. Cheri-Manatu is location to the university's permanent campus, which was established in 2009. The campus, which spans 45 acres, has excellent facilities like sports facilities and medical facilities. University has received a "B" rating from the NAAC and recognition from the UGC.

There are 9 schools and 24 departments in University . Under NEP 2020, the university provides 20 integrated UG and graduate courses in various subjects, including education, engineering, science, and the humanities. Additionally, University provides 22 Ph.D. programs and 27 PG programs in wide range of disciplines. Admission to University's Integrated UG-PG and PG programs is determined by the NTA-conducted CUET exam. On the other hand, the CUJ Research Entrance Test (CUJRET) is used to determine admission to Ph.D. programs.

Admissions at University

Candidates may select from various integrated UG and graduate, PG, and Ph.D. programs offered by the University (CUJ). The grades earned in CUET UG and CUET PG, respectively, determine admission. For admission to Ph.D. program, candidates must take University Research Entrance Test (CUJRET).

Following online registration, the University admissions process is completed offline. The names of the shortlisted applicants will be posted on the university's website. To be physically admitted, the shortlisted students need to show up to the college. The admission fee must then be paid online through the registration login page. All original documents and 3 sets of photocopies of the same must be carried by the candidates.

Placements to University

Every year, the University hosts both on-campus and off-campus placement drives through its specialised training and placement unit. Prominent multinational corporations from many industries are coming to the school to recruit students. According to the NIRF 2023 report, 483 PG students were given a median compensation package of INR 4.4 LPA. Asian Paints, Byju's, Axis Bank Ltd, ACC Ltd, Axis Securities Ltd, Bandhan Bank Ltd, Extramarks, and others are among the leading recruiters that Central University of Jharkhand works with.

Scholarships for Students

Reliance Foundation UG Scholarships are available to deserving and financially disadvantaged students at the University. 5000 deserving UG students are awarded the scholarship. The aptitude test determines who gets the scholarship. The dates of this scholarship aptitude test are set for October 24–28, 2023. In December 2023, the findings will announced. The scholarship can be applied for at scholarships.
