Vinoba Bhave University (VBU) holds a solid B++ rating from the NAAC, established in 1972, . University's headquarters are in Hazaribag, in the state of Jharkhand's North Chotanagpur district, 100 kilometres from Ranchi. The 67.17-acre campus of the state-owned university is covered in luxuriant greenery. Governmental organisations in India also provide funding for this University.
