Vinoba Bhave University (VBU) holds a solid B++ rating from the NAAC, established in 1972, . University's headquarters are in Hazaribag, in the state of Jharkhand's North Chotanagpur district, 100 kilometres from Ranchi. The 67.17-acre campus of the state-owned university is covered in luxuriant greenery. Governmental organisations in India also provide funding for this University.

Throughout the state, university has connections to about 70 UG universities and other professional establishments. Additionally, it is a member of 2 significant associations: ACU in London and AIU in Delhi. Traditional, vocational courses are available at university in various subjects, including psychology, medicine, commerce, and the humanities. The main programs offered by university include the MBA, M.Sc., MCA, M.Ed., M.B.B.S., and others. The CUET exam, often known as the university's entrance exam, is the basis for admission to university courses. Admissions at University

The university provides around 50 courses in various subjects, including engineering, medical sciences, commerce, law, and the humanities. The university offers UG, graduate, and doctoral degrees for students to study for. All course admissions are completed online. Admission to 27 UG programs at University (VBU), including the Humanities programs in English, Hindi, Anthropology, and others, is determined on the applicant's CUET results, with the other admissions being determined by merit scores from previous degrees.

Steps to Apply for University

The completed applications can be submitted online by candidates. Since application forms are available on the official website. The procedures listed below can be used by applicants to apply for the UG and PG programs:

  • The chancellor's website, is where applicants interested in university programs can submit their applications.
  • Enter your information, such as your name, email address, phone number, etc., to sign up or log in.
  • It will display the student dashboard. Select the year and the course now.
  • As they continue, students will have the opportunity to complete the application or admission form.
  • Include past academic records and entrance exam scores.
  • Use the same portal to upload the required documents.
  • Examine the application.
  • Finish by paying for the application.

Candidates are required to bring the following original documents at the time of counselling :

  • All original certificate and marksheets - Matriculation onwards
  • Original certificates (Caste & Domicile)
  • Original College Leaving Certificate (CLCY/ Transfer Certificate).

Results of University:

Exams for the semester are held twice a year at university. The final results are calculated using the same semester's tests. University's placement cell is quite active. It assists students with summer internships in addition to placement. Reputable businesses like Indusland Bank, Mahindra Finance, Reliance, and Airtel are invited by the university placement cell. The campus of University is spread on 67.17 acres in the state of Jharkhand. Hostels, labs, festivals, events, exhibits, and more are among its facilities. Additionally, one of the distinguished faculty members at university holds a doctorate.
