Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Mysore Campus, Mysore

The Amrita Institute has five campuses, including Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in Mysore. Courses and Admission:

Admission to UG and Integrated Courses at University, Mysore

Candidates who receive at least 50% in 12th or equivalent (Relevant Stream) exams are eligible to apply for admission to UG and associated programs. In contrast, candidates must receive minimum 60% marks for admission to the BCA+MCA program. Merit is the only factor used to determine final selection for all programs.

Admission to PG Program

Candidates who receive at least 50% on their Bachelor's Degree Exam (Relevant Field) are eligible to apply for admission to PG programs. On the other hand, a candidate must receive at least 60% marks to be admitted to MCA. Every program's final selection is on the basis of merit.

Ph.D. Admission to University

Candidates for the 3 year, full-time Ph.D. research program offered by University must have a Master's degree or M.Phil. with at least 55% marks. Candidates are ultimately selected based on the following criteria:

• The institute performed a personal interview after the entrance exam.
• CSIR (JRF)/UGC (NET) Exam (for Ph.D.).
• Holders of SLET, GATE, or Teacher Fellowships (for Ph.D.)
• Direct fellowship award from ICMR, DST (INSPIRE), or another national organization (Ph.D.)
• Any other test that is comparable.
