University Courses Offered:

MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) and B.Sc. Medical Imaging Technology (MIT) are undergraduate programs offered by BLDE University (Deemed to be University). MBBS takes 5 years and 6 months to complete, while B.Sc. takes 3 years.

The university provides PG degrees in MD, MS, M.Sc., and M.CH. PG programs last 3 years on average. The Institute also offers diploma degrees many fields and 12 Ph.D. programs.

Admission at University

At UG level, BLDE (Deemed to be University) offers 2 courses: MBBS and B.Sc. There are 150 MBBS intakes and 15 B.Sc. intakes. Minimum 50% in the scientific stream from class +2 is required to be eligible for both courses. The NEET exam is used to determine admission.

Admission to PG Program

BLDE offers PG MD, MS, M.Sc., and M.CH. programs that last 3 years. The prerequisite for PG courses is a graduate degree in a relevant field with at least 50%marks from an accredited school or institution. The NEET PG score is used to select students for MD and MS programs, whereas the university itself conducts the BLDEU-SSET test for M.Ch. and M.Sc. programs.
