The University of Mysore, popularly known as Mysore University, is a famous public-state institution in Mysore, Karnataka, India. The University has UGC recognition and NAAC accreditation with a grade of 'A'. In 2023, University was placed 44th in the University category and 71st overall according to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
The University provides various UG, PG, and doctorate programs. It also provides specialty degrees in law, engineering, journalism, and computer science. There are 85 PG departments that offer more than 150 PG programs to over 1,20,000 UG, graduate, M.Phil, and Ph.D. students. Admission 2024 at University
The university admits students to various UG, graduate, and doctoral programs in various specializations. Interested candidates can complete the application form on the university's official website. Admission to many programs is based on entrance exam scores, while some courses need merit. NATA test scores are acceptable for admission to B.Arch and B.Plan courses, whereas KCET is accepted for BE/BTech entrance. UG admissions are based on qualifying exam scores.
