Rani Channamma University (RCUB) was established in 2010 by the Karnataka government and is located in Belagavi, Karnataka. The university is well-known for promoting quality education and is associated with the University Grants Commission (UGC). It offers various courses at PG UG, and doctoral levels in arts, science, education, social work, commerce, and management. •  For PG, the candidate must have Bachelor's Degree in the relevant discipline with at least 45% aggregate marks.
• For the M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs, applicants must have Master's Degree in the relevant subject of study from a recognized university. However, the candidates must pass the NET or SLET entrance exam.
• Candidates for M.Phil. or Ph.D. programs are selected based on their performance in the NET or SLET entrance exam.

Placements to University

The placement cell is critical in both training and preparing students for the workforce. It aims to provide acceptable chances to eligible students by training them based on their talents and certifications. The placement cell arranges various training programs such as mock interviews, group talks, communication skills workshops, and many others to help students improve their abilities and develop their personalities. However, the university also ensures that its students study for various government sector tests.

Facilities at University

• Research Labs- The university provides separate labs for research, complete with advanced technology and research facilities. However, practically every department has its own research lab. In addition to the Physics, Chemistry, and Fluid Dynamics laboratories, the university has Criminology Research Labs in Security and Crime.
• Compter Lab- The computer labs are well-equipped with the most recent configuration computers. It also offers adequate space for computers.
• Library- It features a well-kept library with a large collection of books, periodicals, and newspapers.
