The University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur (UAS) was established in 1932. Under the Agriculture and Agriculture Science departments, it provides 12 UG courses, 12 graduate courses, and 10 doctoral courses. The admissions procedure can be performed online or offline.

All admission procedures are only based on the merit list/marks received. The B.Sc., B.Tech., and M.Tech courses, as well as the M.Sc courses, are among the most popular in UG and graduate programs. It also offers Ph.D. courses.

Admission to B.Sc and B.Tech programs is based on the University's practical test scores and merit list ranking. The university conducts exams for Masters and Ph.D. courses. There is no age limit for all UG and graduate programs. UAS has total 215 seats.
