Scholarships for Students

Merit Scholarships for UG Students:

• Candidates having  JEE Advanced AIR up to 1000 will obtain a full fee waiver for the first year. To preserve the scholarship for the next year, minimum C.G.P.A of 9.0 is required for each year; however, this merit-based scholarship is only accessible to the top 5 students who meet the criterion.
• Students with CGPA of 9.0 or higher in any semester are eligible for the Semester Fee Waivers Scholarship program, which provides 50% tuition fee relief for the next semester. This scholarship program is open to 10% candidates in each program.

Fellowships Scholarship for PhD Students:

• Individuals having PG Degree in Basic Science with NET or equivalent, Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET or equivalent, or PG Degree in Professional Course will be eligible for the initial fellowship of INR 31,000 per month.
• Following 2 years of research experience, and subject to performance evaluation, the fellowship could be increased to INR 35,000 per month.
• Scholars must provide academic help for no more than 6 hours per week through tutorials, practicals, or other comparable academic activities.
• Scholars must bear fees linked to boarding, accommodation, and medical facilities in accordance with IIST regulations.
