Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open institution (MPBOU) is a state institution based in Bhopal. It is established in 1992, is recognized by UGC, DEB, AICTE, NCTE, RCI, and AIU. The university has also received a 'A' grade from the NAAC. University maintained 11 regional centers and 612 study centers throughout the state.

Over 4 million students attend University's UG, graduate, and PG diploma programs through Open and Distance Learning (ODL). University admits students based on their merit or admission exam scores.

University admissions for all UG, PG, PG Diploma, and Certificate programs (excluding B.Ed, B.Ed Special Education, and M.Ed) are based on qualifying exam scores. Admission to B.Ed., B.Ed. Special Education, and M.Ed. degrees is based on admission exam scores, followed by university counselling. Admission to all courses through the MP Online Portal.

The application process to apply for University admissions are as follows:

• Visit the official admission portal.
• Click on “Apply Now” and create a unique login ID and password.
• Login using the generated username ad password
• Select the desired program and fill in the necessary details such as Name, Parents Name, Academic qualification, contact details, etc.
• Upload all the required documents.
• Pay an application fee of INR 150 (BA/B.Sc/B.Com) and INR 300 (PG Courses & other associated Courses Diploma / Certificate) through Debit/Credit Cards, Net Banking, UPI, Wallet, Etc.
• Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.

Result of University:

University conducts exams at regional centers, study centers, and affiliated test centers. All courses are subject to semester-based exams at the university. The university announces exam results 45 days after they are completed. To get the degree, the individual must meet the university's qualifying marks. Students should be informed that minimum 40% in each individual topic is required. Students who are dissatisfied with their grades may petition for revaluation of answer keys by paying the appropriate fees.
