The goal of Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil University in Navi Mumbai is to improve the quality of health services in particular and higher education in general. In the developing fields of health sciences, science and technology, business management, hospitality management, law, liberal education, teacher education, sports, etc., the university aims to teach and spread information while also offering resources for research and development.

The Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET), which is required for admission to Ph.D. programs in the faculties of medicine, dentistry, nursing, physiotherapy, management, and biotechnology & bioinformatics, is currently accepting applications from University (DPU) Mumbai.
