The Pravara Medical Trust established the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in 2003, and it is recognised as a university. Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956 allowed the Ministry of Human Resource Development to create the institute. Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil, the pioneer of the Indian cooperative movement, created the trust. It is an Ahmednagar, Maharashtra-based institution with NAAC accreditation. UG, PG, Ph.D., and PG Diploma programs in many specialisations are available at Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences. The most popular UG course at PIMS Ahmednagar is MBBS. UG programs include BDS, B.Sc, BPH, BPT, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, and B.Sc Nursing.

 At PG level, the institute offers MD, MS, MDS, MPT, M.Sc, and M.Sc Nursing, and at the research level, Ph.D.. Admission 2024 to Medical Sciences Program

Admission to many UG, graduate, doctoral, post-doctoral, and diploma programs at the Institute of Medical Sciences has begun. Applicants must take their individual entrance exams to be considered for admission to a specific course at university. Candidates must be eligible for NEET UG for MBBS programs and NEET PG for MD/MS programs.

• The merit list determines admission to diploma programs in fields like DOOA, DMLT, GNM, CMLT, and X-Ray Technician.
• For admission to MBBS and MD/MS programs, DMER, Maharashtra, offers Maharashtra NEET UG and NEET PG Counselling through the Common Admission Process (CAP).
• For MBBS/BDS seats that are reserved under the All India Quota, MCC offers counselling.
• 15% MBBS/BDS seats at Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences are set aside under the All India Quota, while the remaining 85% are set aside under the State Quota.

Cutoff 2024 of Medical Sciences

Based on their performance in the entrance exam, candidates are awarded admission to Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences' MBBS and MD/MS programs.
