In Mohali, Punjab, Chandigarh University was established in 2012. It has been recognised by the UGC and AICTE and has received "A+" grade from the NAAC. Additionally, ICAR, BCI, NCHMCT, PCI, COA, NCTE, AIU, and CSI have authorised it. Members of the IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, IUCEE, and ACS include University. According to NIRF 2023, University is ranked 27th out of all Indian universities. With the most engineering programs accredited by ABET, it is the first private university in India to do so.

 The university offers more than 200 conventional and distance learning courses in management, engineering, journalism, and other subjects through its 18 institutes. The fees of various UG, graduate, and doctoral courses at Chandigarh University ranges from INR 1.35 Lakhs to INR 12.68 Lakhs. B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, and M.Tech are among Chandigarh University's most sought-after programs.

Admission to university courses is determined by the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET), an entrance exam conducted by the university. But admission to University can also be granted on the basis of performance in national exams such as CUET, JEE Mains, CAT, XAT, NATA, and others. Candidates are exempt from CUCET if they received more than 90% marks in their most recent qualifying test. Additionally, applicants for direct admission to Chandigarh University's B.Tech programs may be JEE Mains qualifiers with a rank of up to 50,000.

Admission 2024 to University:

Admission to university courses is conducted in 2 stages, CUCET-I and CUCET-II. Typically, Phase I lasts from October to May, while Phase II lasts from May to October. Both online and offline admissions are accepted at University. To apply for admission, students must download the E-prospectus after logging in and complete the application form found within.

By downloading the application, students can also submit an offline admissions application. Demand note of INR 1000 and the completed application form should be forwarded to the Admission Office, Chandigarh University, SCO 223, First Floor, Sector 36 D, Chandigarh - 160036. 

 

Cutoff 2024 :

Based on student experiences, the Chandigarh University cutoff is not very high, and with adequate domain-subject preparation, the applicant can easily pass the CUCET exam. The university's counsellors assist students with the admissions process as well. The CUCET cutoff for Phase I and Phase II at University is 30%.
