Chitkara University is a private university, located in Punjab, India. It was established in 2002 and provides various full-time and part-time UG, graduate, and doctorate programs. Candidates who have passed competitive national or regional tests and who have participated in personal interviews and group discussions are admitted. University evaluates the UGC-CSIR-NET/JRF/SLET/GATE results before conducting a personal interview for Ph.D. admission.

The university is one of the top universities in North India, with more than 13,000 students and 900 academic members worldwide.

Applicants must have obtained at least 60% in all subjects or 60% in math, physics, and chemistry at 12th to be considered for admission to B.E. programs. Additionally, they must have achieved a high ranking in either January or April of 2024 in JEE-Mains.

PCM in 12th is must for eligibility. To establish the eligibility requirements, the marks will not be rounded off; for example, 59.99% will not be regarded as being equal to 60.00%.

Admission 2024 to University:

After an applicant applies for admission and receives their application from the admission office before the deadline, the admissions procedure usually begins.

Reservation Criteria:

• 25% seats are still set aside for eligible applicants from Himachal Pradesh, and 15% are only available to students from Punjab.
• Government policy will determine how many seats are allotted to the reserved groups (SC, ST, OBC, etc.).
• If applicant withdraws before the commencement of their courses, a processing charge of Rs. 1000 and counselling fees of Rs. 2500 will be subtracted; otherwise, they will receive a full refund.
• In the event that a withdrawal application is submitted after classes have started, money will be reimbursed after a pro rata deduction (minus administrative fees) and an additional counselling fee.
