One of the top universities in the nation is IIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur, which was established in 2009. It has UGC recognition and NAAC accreditation. With roughly 4500 students registered in different programs, the university has 14 departments that offer professional courses like Bachelor of Education, Fine Arts, Journalism, and others, as well as UG, graduate, and research programs in the sciences, arts and social sciences, commerce, and management. The University has also launched many new coeducational programs and professionals this year, including a Diploma in Clinical Psychology, Forensic Science, and Library and Information Science. Candidates may select to register in diploma or certificate programs in addition to their degree courses.

The final qualifying exam result is used to determine admission to these courses. The Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), Government of India, has approved 1-year professional diploma in clinical psychology. Admission to the program is determined by entrance exam, which is followed by a round of group discussions and personal interviews. Valid CAT/MAT exam results, followed by a GD/PI round, are required for MBA admission. The Research Entrance Test is used to admit Ph.D. candidates (RET). Scholarships are also available from the university to deserving athletes who compete at the national level.

Admissions at University:

To register in any courses, candidates must meet the prerequisites for eligibility. The online application gateway on the university's official website is where one can submit application. Together with the required registration money, they must turn in the completed application form. Merit scores from the most recent qualifying exam are used to determine admission. However, CAT/MAT scores will be used to determine admission to the MBA program. The university conducts the Research Entrance Test (RET) as the basis for Ph.D. and M.Phil. admissions. Entrance exam, followed by a round of group discussions and personal interviews, determines admission to a professional clinical psychology diploma program.

95% and above = Rs. 15,000/-

85% to 94% = Rs. 8,000/-

Freeships: 

To encourage students to reach the greatest levels of academic performance, the university provides financial support in the form of freeships on a merit-cum-need basis.

Research fellowship and support:    To selected applicants, the organization offers outsourcing funding in addition to Research Fellowships.

Library:    Rich and diverse resources in the fields of humanities, arts, social sciences, fine arts, commerce, management, and physical and natural sciences are available in the university's well-stocked and fully computerized library. "Best Library User Award" is another initiative the university has put in place to encourage reading among all students. More than 6,00,000 pieces of superb information, including e-books, journals, movies, presentations, news articles, and more, are available in the digital library.

Labs:   In addition to departmental labs in the faculties of science and social sciences, research and development (R&D) laboratories, language labs, computer science labs, and IT labs with reprographics facilities, the university has 41 labs with sufficient equipment, such as Thermal Evaporation Thin Film Units, UV Visible Scanners, FTIR, Nano Evaporators, etc., and 66 proprietary software. Computational facilities are also available in several departments.

Cafeteria:     Aanchal Dining Hall, Amul Kiosk, Café Coffee Day (CCD), and Planet-J Auditorium are among the several restaurants and kiosks that have been established on campus for both staff and students.

Auditorium:   The university has 12 multipurpose halls for hosting different administrative, cultural, co-curricular, and academic events, as well as three auditoriums with modern facilities audio-visual equipment and seating capacities of 200, 250, and 800 people.
