Malaviya Regional Engineering College was established in Rajasthan, which later became the Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, In 1963, . It has MHRD and AICTE approval in addition to NBA accreditation. India Today's 2024 B.Tech ranking for university was 18 out of 284. Courses provided by university include B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, MBA, M.Sc, Ph.D., and more.

B.Tech is the main subject offered by university. Candidates must receive at least 75% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 12th for admission.
