Admissions at University:

Admissions Interaction Process (AIP) is currently done online. This process entails talking with the applicant and their parents about the University's programs and positions, as well as helping NU better understand the applicants' goals. Due to COVID, this interaction approach has been online, allowing kids and their parents to achieve admission from the comfort and security of their own homes.

Step 1:    Download the Admission application form from the internet or from any of NU's approved Admissions Offices. The application fee can be paid online or by cheque/demand draft payable to University, Gurugram.

Step 2:    Submit the properly filled Admission application form online or by mail, along with any relevant documents.

Step 3:    Schedule the NU-AIP online by selecting the NU-AIP site closest to you and the time window that works best for you. If you need help scheduling the NU-AIP, please contact the relevant Admissions office.

Note: For applicants with valid JEE Main/ BITSAT/ SAT/ NEET/ Any State Engineering Entrance Examination Rank/Score, the better of the two scores (second being NUAT) will be accepted. NUAT results will be used to evaluate Management applicants.

Step 4:    Within 5 working days of getting the Admission Offer letter, selected students must submit the Acceptance Letter, fully signed by them and their parent/guardian, along with a non-refundable acceptance fee of INR 15,000.

Step 5:    After receiving the 12th results, NU Admissions sends a final admission offer to the accepted candidates through email within 5 days.

Placements 2023 to University:

The university has a very dedicated and active placement cell that is constantly looking for ways to help students find jobs. The institution recently completed its 2023 placement drive. More than 700 industrial partners visited the campus. Some big recruiters included AUDI, Clear Tax, Morgan Stanley, HSBC, Thomson Reuters, Amazon, Urban Clap, and many others. Scholarships for Students:

The NU Scholar Search Programme offers merit scholarships up to a full waiver on tuition fees for qualified applicants. The program considers academic performance, including 10 and 12 marks, as well as performance in JEE, BITSAT, SAT, or NEET, as applicable.

Merit Scholarship Plan (MS 1 Level): INR 200,000 scholarship annually on University Tuition Fee only.

Merit Scholarship Plan (MS 2+ Level): INR 150,000 scholarship annually on University Tuition Fee only.

Merit Scholarship Plan (MS 2 Level): INR 100,000 scholarship annually on University Tuition Fee only.

Merit Scholarship Plan (MS 3 Level): INR 50,000 scholarship annually on University Tuition Fee only.

Scholarship 2024 for Students:

Recently, University announced many scholarships for deserving students who wish to continue their education there. For the academic year 2023–2024, university has offered scholarships worth up to INR 2 lakhs in an effort to encourage students to achieve academic success.

CSE (Computer Science and Engineering), ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering), DS (Data Science), CyS (Cyber Security), BT (Biotechnology), and Integrated M.Sc (Computer Science) are among the BBA, MBA, and B.Tech programs for which these scholarships are offered. Student's achievement in 12th and national exams would be the basis for the scholarship selection criteria. In addition, the institution has announced unique scholarships for excellent students, who will receive full fees waivers on the above mentioned courses. The annual scholarship would range between Rs 50,000-2,00,000, which will be provided on the tuition fee alone, and candidates are selected on the basis of their merit. Another scholarship system, known as 'CoX', is for students who excel in various extracurricular activities such as dance, theater, sports, and fine arts.

Note: All scholarships are merit-based and subject to availability.

Facilities at University:

Labs:    Modern labs and classrooms provide a stimulating educational experience.

IT Facilities:    The university's IT facilities include Wi-Fi services, 300+ PCs, automated, paperless check-in and check-out from campus, twin IP cameras in classrooms, and a bespoke, modern, cloud-based Learning Management System and Assessment Management System.

Central Library:   Students can visit the library, which is well-stocked with text and reference books, e-periodicals, and journals to obtain information and knowledge. The library has large hall area that is properly aired.

Hostel:    Boys and girls students are accommodated with all required facilities such as water supply, mess, a recreation room, 24-hour ambulance availability, sports facility, fitness center, etc medical support to ensure their comfort. All rooms are outfitted with the required technology and have Geothermal Coupling Cooling. Coffee/tea/soup vending machines are available in hostels. Food for students is also available.

Sports:    The university has outdoor facilities for athletics, basketball, cricket, football, tennis, and volleyball. Indoor sporting facilities include badminton, chess, carrom, multigym, pool, and table tennis. Well-trained coaches are part of the institute's faculty, guiding, motivating, and inspiring students. The hostel area is designed with tennis and basketball courts, as well as pleasant nooks with carom and chess boards.

Health Care:     The institute employs health care experts and has a campus-based health center.

Faculty at University:

The NIIT University faculty consists of 61 highly skilled and qualified individuals, 42 of them hold Ph.Ds in their respective fields. The teaching members are all very engaging with the students and always encourage them to clarify concepts and ask questions, even when they are not in the classroom. The faculty consists of professors, assistant professors, and others. All members are specialists in their industries and have extensive experience. The student-faculty ratio in engineering is 11.85:1, whereas in management it is 10.58:1.
