Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University, based in Bikaner, Rajasthan, was established in 1987. The university provides B.Sc. and M.Sc. courses in many specializations. It also provides Ph.D. (Agriculture) and Ph.D. (Home Science) in various disciplines, as well as 2 diploma courses by correspondence. The university has been approved by the UGC. Admission to several UG and PG courses is sought by an entrance exam, whereas Ph.D. admissions are followed by interview process. Applications are only accepted offline. In 2018-19, 75 students were successfully placed through the recruitment effort.

 University admits students based on admission tests for all degrees. Students must apply within the specified time period to submit their admission exam scores. Admissions are based on merit rank.

• Apply for JET for UG, AIEEA for graduate, and CAT for MBA admissions.
• Application forms can be collected from the university campus or online and must be submitted at the admissions window with specific documents.

Placements To University:

Scholarships for Students:

RBSE Ajmer Scholarship:   INR 10,000 per year for deserving students with Intermediate graduate grades.
SC/ST Post-matric Scholarship:    The Government of Rajasthan provides scholarships ranging from INR 140 to INR 740 a month, depending on the degree, dormitory stay, and type of course being pursued.
ICAR MCM Scholarship:    INR 300 per month and INR 750 per year for students from families earning less than INR 1,00,000 per year.
National Talent Scholarship:   Students selected through the ICAR exam from other states will receive INR 1,000 each month during their studies.

Facilities at University:

The university campus offers students various facilities to make their college experience memorable and more comfortable. Some facilities offered on campus are:

Central Library:    The university campus features a central library with 1,832 books and 105 journals for both students and staff. The library allows students to check out up to 5 books at once.

Training Center:   The institution has its own farm implement, machinery testing, and training facilities. The goal of this cell is to educate fellow students about the working environment and machinery. 

Computer Applications:    The university campus also have Center for Information Management and Computer Management. It manages numerous IT operations and gives students with high-speed internet access of up to 1 GB per second.

Stadium:   The university has its own outdoor stadium. It features a separate basketball court. Students can enjoy various sports at this stadium.

Every year, the Directorate hosts the Vice-Chancellor Running Trophy Tournament for various games for non-teaching staff.
