Admissions at University:

Candidates for admission to University in technical courses must pass exams such as the University entrance exam, JEE Mains, GATE, and others; non-technical subjects are admitted on merit basis. The primary requirement for admission to UG courses is that students pass 12th. For PG courses, candidates must have graduation degree.

Steps to Apply:

  • The application form can be submitted online or offline.
  • Candidates should carefully fill out the columns for basic introduction, personal information, and academic details.
  • Once completed, applicants can upload their photos and signature. In the case of an offline form, they should attach photo and sign the form.
  • Next, pay the specified fees either online or offline.
  • For offline forms, students should mail them to University's official address. In the case of online form, they should finally submit it through the web portal.

Placements to University:

The university has active placement cell dedicated to placement operations. Every year, companies such as Jindal Steel and Power, Hero, LT, ESCORTS, MTNL, PARLE, BSNL, HMT, SARAS, Doordarshan, Google, AEGIS, HCL, Microsoft, Tata Steel, Western Coalfield Limited, and others pay visits to the campus.

Scholarships for Students:

  • In 10th/12th/Graduation, if a student achieves 90% or higher, SU guarantees a 100% tuition fees reduction.
  • If student receives 85% or higher in 10/12th/Graduation, SU will waive 50% tuition.
  • If student achieves 80% or higher in 10/12th/Graduation, SU will give them 25% tuition reduction
  • Physically challenged candidates receive 50% reduction in tuition fees.
  • Female students, defense wards, and paramilitary members have their admission expenses waived completely.

Facilities at University:
 
Wi-Fi campus:    IT-enabled students can access the internet from anywhere on campus through high-speed networks.
Classrooms:    It provides a suitable setting for productive debates, lectures, and discussions. Classrooms feature cutting-edge technology. Biometric smartcards are supplied to each student to ensure their security on campus.
Labs:    Each department has its own lab and workshop. Modern techniques are used in the X-ray rooms, engineering, and electrical workshops.
Sports and Activities:    The SU also provides enough support for the students' athletic and cultural activities. It offers indoor and outdoor gaming equipment. The open-air theatre and Ac auditorium at SU help to exhibit the abilities.
Service:    It provides bus service for the convenience of its students.
