Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU) was established by the JK Cement Nimbahera Basis under the 'Sir Padampat Singhania University Act 2008' enacted by the Rajasthan government. It is situated on a 100-acre complex that has all modern conveniences. University has approximately 750 students (excluding 79 Ph.D Scholars) and 54 faculty members. SPSU's current student-to-teacher ratio is 14:1. The institution has 2 schools: the School of Engineering and the School of Management, which provide UG, PG, and doctoral studies. Admission to courses is based on the score received in the university's SPSAT entrance exam.

The university has industrial and academic collaboration with the AWS Academy, Intel, Gainwell, Beumer Group, Xebia, FLSmidth, TCS ION, Microsoft, SAS,JK Cement, GHH Group, Association of International Accountants, London (AIA), Chiba University of Commerce, Japan (CUC), Management Centre Innsbruck, Austria (MCI), Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic and The University of Nebraska at Omaha, USA. J K Cement Nimbahera Foundation (JKCNF) collaborates with twelve educational institutions to provide education to roughly 14000 students at various stages of the learning curve. It organizes industrial visits to provide students with worldwide experience.

Admission at University:

All admissions to University are given through the Sir Padampat Singhania Admission Test (SPSAT). Candidates must pass the SPSAT test, which is conducted independently for each course. Eligible candidates seeking admission must fill out the Admission Application Form online at the SPS University website and pay INR 1,175. Candidates must take the SPSAT within ten days after their registration. Those who pass the SPSAT can apply for admission by visiting the university personal.

Placements to University:

University (SPSU) maintains an active placement cell that serves as a bridge between industry and institute. The institution continually organizes placement-related activities such as seminars, workshops, webinars, lecture series, and interactive sessions to help students prepare for their interviews. The institution also provides employment help programs for students through assessment businesses such as AMCAT and CoCubes. This allows students to assess their employment skills. In 2023, University successfully placed 100% students in reputable organizations such as Siemens, Reliance Retail, Bajaj Finserv, TCS, Intel, Wipro, and many others.

Scholarship for Students:

University has a very effective and devoted scholarship program that gives financial support to students who are unable to pay their full tuition. Outstanding before achievers are eligible for special scholarships that cover the entire duration of course (B.Tech, BBA, M.Tech, or MBA). Scholarships are awarded based on the verification of signed certificates from educators (or other appropriate authorities). To be eligible for any award, students must have earned at least 50% in grades X and XII.

 Facilities at University:

Labs:    The institution has modern classrooms and labs for students to help them learn more effectively and interactively. The labs and classrooms are all adequately equipped and well-planned.

Library:    The University Library is well-stocked with printed and digital reading materials from various subjects. Books are available for reading and lending purposes.

Hostel:    There are 6 boys' hostels and three girls' hostels, all of which have Internet, TV, newspapers, magazines, a table tennis board, a badminton court, and other facilities. Laundry facilities are accessible to all tenants.

Hygienic Multi Cuisine Mess & Food Court:    Mess is served in all hostels. Aside from that, the Food Court includes Snacks Bar and Happiness (Ice Cream Parlour), which serve tasty and high-quality dishes such as burgers, pizza, rolls, tea, coffee, cold beverages, fruit juice, and more to University students and staff.

Health Care:    The institution maintains a functional dispensary with a resident medical attendant available all times on campus to give medical assistance to residents. The University has an ambulance on call at all times. The university has also partnered with the city's main hospitals.

Faculty at University:

University boasts a strong faculty of 54 individuals who are all extremely qualified and experienced. The institute features eminent faculty, with more than 60% of them holding Ph.D.s from prestigious colleges and excelling in their respective fields. University's faculty consists of the Dean, Professors, and Assistant Professors. Members of the faculty are extremely cooperative with students and support them in all areas.
